4th OF JULY PRETZEL SPARKLER SPECTACULAR
Snyder’s of Hanover pretzels rods sparkle with Independence Day flare!
HANOVER, PA – June 26, 2006 – Snyder’s of Hanover pretzels will make your 4th of July celebration deliciously spectacular! Independence Day is an American holiday that everyone loves to celebrate with family and friends. America’s Birthday is a time to show our patriotism and we all look forward to the 4th of July fireworks. So, what better way to enjoy our independence than by making your own Snyder’s of Hanover Pretzel Rod Sparklers?
Here is a fun and easy recipe:
Snyder’s of Hanover Pretzel Rod Sparklers
4 ounces white chocolate candy coating
12 large Snyder’s of Hanover Pretzel Rods
Toppings (blue and red sprinkles, M&M’s®, or gum drops)
1. Line a cookie sheet with waxed paper.
2. Melt the chocolate according to the package.
3. After the chocolate has been melted, dip the Snyder’s of Hanover Pretzel Rods into it, covering at least half of the pretzel rod. Allow the excess chocolate to drip off.
4. Sprinkle dipped pretzel rods with blue and red toppings. 5. Drizzle additional chocolate onto the pretzel rod if desired.
6. Place on the cookie sheet and let set until the chocolate is firm. Store at room temperature in an airtight container.
There are many ways you can make the pretzel rod sparklers even more festive and fun. How about using milk or dark chocolate and sprinkling them with colored sugar or silver nonpareil balls. You could even crush up some of your favorite blue and red hard candy to cover your pretzel rod sparkler. Let your imagination go!
