Snyder's of Hanover Pretzel Rods, Snaps, Mini

Various candy decorations

Instructions: Making a Pretzel House is easy and fun for the little ones.
Start with a clean, dried milk container as a base and easy guide, we used a ½ gallon size.
Using Snyder’s of Hanover Pretzel Rods, stack and glue the rods in log cabin fashion.
Here are some ideas:
The Butter Snaps make great paned windows as well as a door and path.
For melted “snow” on the roof and even chinking between the logs, melt some vanilla frosting in the microwave, at 50% power in 10 second intervals until smooth and semi-liquid. Spoon or pipe the melted frosting over the roof line and allow it to drip to form “icicles”. Pipe melted frosting in between the logs for an authentic log cabin look.
Have fun placing various colorful candies all over your house, and use the melted frosting as “glue”.
Stand up Minis and adhere them in place for a fence.
