Ingredients:
5 Snyder’s of Hanover Sourdough Specials
5 Snyder’s of Hanover Thins Pretzels
2 Snyder’s of Hanover Mini Pretzels
1 Snyder’s of Hanover Snap Pretzels
A bit of ribbon, something for a beak (we used a piece of candy corn) and eyes (although we used googley eyes available at any craft store, you can easily draw the eyes on a piece of paper or cardboard)
Instructions:
Get your glue gun ready*
For the body: Lay a Sourdough Special flat and glue on another Special that’s turned 90 degrees. Repeat until all 5 Specials are used.
Making the Tail feathers: Lay a Thin Pretzel on a flat surface. On top of this glue on 3 Thins, sides touching to form a semi-circle. Top with last Thin. When completely dried, glue tail to body.
Now for the head: glue 2 Mini Pretzels together and set aside. Glue the Snap Pretzel to the body and then glue on the stack of 2 Snaps.
When completely cool, glue on the beak, eyes and a piece of ribbon.
*Note: if you want an edible pretzel turkey, try using almond paste or peanut butter as a substitute for glue gun.
