2 Granny Smith or your preferred apples, peel, cored and sliced into ¼” slices
1 TBS sugar
6 TBS butter, divided
1 cup crushed Snyder’s of Hanover Sweet & Salty Cinnamon Sugar Pieces, divided
6 TBS flour
1 TBS oatmeal
¼ cup brown sugar
Preheat oven to 375⁰F. In a medium bowl, crumble 4 TBS of butter with the flour, oatmeal, sugar and ½ cup crushed Salted Caramel Pieces until butter is fully incorporated; refrigerate until ready to use.
In a large frying pan, sauté 2 TBS of butter with the sliced apples, 1 TBS sugar and ½ cup of the crushed Salted Caramel Pieces until apples are slightly softened. Evenly divide apple mixture among four 1-cup ramekins.
Top each apple-filled ramekin with the now chilled crisp topping and bake for 30 – 40 minutes. Best served warm and with a little ice cream.
