Fudge Brownie Pretzel Pie

Ingredients

  • For the crust:
  • 1 cup crushed chocolate wafer cookies
  • ½ cup crushed Snyder’s of Hanover Pretzels
  • 2 Tbs. sugar
  • 1/3 cup melted margarine or butter
  • For the filling:
  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • ¼ cup oil
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup crushed Snyder’s of Hanover Pretzels

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. Mix all ingredients in the pie pan you will be baking the pie in; press crust on bottom and up sides; bake for 5 – 8 minutes, remove from oven; let cool.

  3. In a bowl, mix all ingredients by hand, until thoroughly combined (about 50 strokes).
  4. Spread batter in prepared crust – batter will be very thick.

  5. Sprinkle top of batter with crushed pretzels; bake for 20-25 minutes. Let cool.
