Hash Brown Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. (30 oz.) frozen shredded hash brown potatoes
  • 2 cups (8 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 6 large eggs, well beaten
  • 1 can (12 fl. oz.) evaporated milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt (optional of course)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 small roasted red bell pepper, chopped (store bought or homemade)
  • 10 slices turkey bacon, cooked and chopped, or 1 cup diced ham
  • 1 cup Snyder's Garlic Bread Pieces (crumbled in blender or processor to bread crumb consistency)

Directions

  1. PREHEAT oven to 350 F. Grease 13 x 9-inch baking dish.

  2. COMBINE cheese, egg product, evaporated milk, salt and black pepper in large bowl

  3. Add potatoes, onion, bell pepper and bacon, mix well. Pour mixture into prepared baking dish. Cover with Pretzel Pieces.

  4. BAKE for 60 to 65 minutes or until set.
