  • Snyder’s of Hanover® Dipping Sticks
  • Snyder’s of Hanover® Sticks
  • Snyder’s of Hanover® Snaps
  • Prepared loaf cake
  • 2 cans of prepared frosting, we used one can of yellow frosting and one can of green frosting
  • 2 cups shredded coconut
  • Green food coloring
  • Marshmallow bunnies
  • Marshmallow flowers
  • Cake Mate Decors – Easter Mix

  1. In a medium bowl, place the shredded coconut and 2 – 3 drops of green food coloring. Stir and toss until the coconut is evenly colored; set aside to dry.

  2. Spread all four sides of the loaf cake with yellow frosting and push the Pretzel Dipping Sticks into the frosting all around the cake.

  3. Spoon the green frosting on the top of the cake, leveling the frosting.

  4. Sprinkle the green tinted coconut.

  5. Insert a Pretzel Stick in the bottom of each marshmallow bunny and marshmallow flower; push into the green frosted top of the cake.

  6. Pipe a little of the green frosting into mounds; place in some of the Cake Mate Easter Mix Decors on the mounds to create “flower” patches.

  7. To make the handle, use Royal Icing (recipe follows) as “glue” and adhere Pretzel snaps in an arch. Make sure that the distance of the ends is the same size as the length of the loaf cake.

  8. Royal Icing: 3 Tablespoons Meringue Powder 4 cups sifted confectioner’s sugar (app. 1 lb.) 5 Tablespoons water.

  9. Beat all ingredients at low speed for about 5 – 7 minutes until icing forms peaks. Yield – 3 cups.
