Gently push the Pretzel Sticks into a donut hole in a spray pattern.
For each firework burst, squeeze approximately ¼ cup of the white Bakery Icing plus 1 – 2 teaspoons of water in to a microwave-safe bowl; microwave at 70% power in 10 second intervals, stirring between intervals, until you have reached a consistency of paint.
Using a small paint brush, “paint” on the melted icing mixture, or pour over each Pretzel Stick to coat; let dry.
Once the icing has dried, working with 3 – 4 coated Pretzel Sticks at a time, brush some water on the areas you’d like to colored sugar to adhere, sprinkle with sugar; set aside to dry.
* If you wish to use molten sugar instead of a donut hole, simply melt sugar in a small pan over medium heat. Use a water-dampened brush to brush down the sides. This method is not recommended for children.
