Margarita de Mayo Popcorn

Ingredients

  • 12 cups Cape Cod Kettle Corn Popcorn
  • 4 cups lightly crushed Snyder’s of Hanover Twist of Lime Tortilla Chips
  • 2 cups Snyder’s of Hanover Pretzel Sticks, broken into bite-sized pieces
  • 6 TBS butter
  • 2 TBS fresh lime juice
  • 2 TBS tequila
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 2 tsp kosher salt (optional)
  • 2 tsp grated lime zest

Directions

  1. Toss popcorn, tortilla chips, and pretzels in a large bowl; set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat melt the butter and add the lime juice, tequila, sugar, salt and lime zest.
  3. Drizzle mixture over popcorn mixture and toss until combined.
  4. Another option: In a large bowl, toss 12 cups Cape Cod Sea Salt Popcorn and 4 cups Snyder’s of Hanover Twist of Lime Tortilla Chips, lightly crushed.  In a separate bowl, mix 6 TBS melted butter with ¾ cup sriracha, 2 teaspoons grated lime zest and 1 TBS fresh lime juice.  Drizzle over popcorn/tortilla mixture and toss.
