Santa’s Sleigh

Ingredients

  • 5 Snyder’s of Hanover Pretzel Rods
  • 10 Snyder’s of Hanover Mini’s
  • 12 Snyder’s of Hanover Pretzel Thins
  • 6 Snyder’s of Hanover Dipping Sticks
  • Hot Glue
  • Licorice ribbons
  • Cake Mate Candy Cake Decorations (Christmas)
  • Cake Mate Easy Squeeze (white, green and red)
  • Cake Mate Decors (red)
  • Your choice of candy “gifts”

Directions

  1. Using the photo as a guide, glue the 5 rods together to create the base.

  2. Once dry, glue the Mini’s as the sleigh rungs on each side of the base.

  3. Glue 5 Dipping Sticks together to create the seat.

  4. Once dried, break the remaining Dipping Stick in half and glue in the outer edge of the seat on the second Dipping Stick. Repeat with other half. Adhere to back end of sleigh.

  5. Break 11 of Thins keeping one of the pretzel loops intact. Using the photograph as a guide, glue the 11 halves to the base and to each other.

  6. Finally glue the remaining pretzel thin to the rear of the sled.

  7. Decorate the sled using your imagination and lots of Cake Mate products. Fill the sled with foiled wrapped candies to represent gifts.

  8. Hint: To make this a completely edible craft, replace the glue with melted candy melts following package directions.
